Below the cut are various pictures taken on my way up to and down from this building and the building it's self.
As it happens the approach to the ruin is part of this
and starts with this
The path up to it is so hemmed in by flowers it is almost impossible not to walk on them. I was glad of my cold as the majority of them were, I think, wild garlic.
Apart from the plant's growing on the walls you've seen the rest in the plants section.
This greets you at the entrance to the churchyard
As I said before the only thing ancient about this church is the foot print, which is tiny, and possibly the stones but it must have been a cut church when it was in use.
The bell tower is prettywell in one piece.
Which is more than can be said of the church. This is looking towards the Alter, east.
And this is the western end.
One of the side windows
Various bits of the graveyard surrounding it.
Not all the graves are ancient.
